Their vibe likened to Giant Sand, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Palace, this incredibly inventive debut is masterminded by Pete Fitzpatrick (also of avant klezmer group Naftule's Dream and renaissance electro-pop Green 4 with Mary Timony).

He and his entourage add trumpet, accordian, banjo, theremin, organ, and tuba to the more standard guitars and percussion to create songs of a multi-textured hue that alternately rollick, gloomsay, and mystify. Some simpler lo-fi aesthetics are also thrown into the mix. Feel free to label this wonderful.
