The Chris Brokaw Band is playing live tonight on WMBR’s live local music show, Pipeline! Tune in from 8-10 pm to hear Chris on guitar/vocals, Jeff Goddard (ex-Karate) on bass and Kevin Coultas (ex-Rodan) on drums. Or for you who be tardy, check out the archive of the show, available online over the next two weeks.
Also, we’ve been remiss in not letting you all know about National Public Radio’s 8-minute feature on Chris Brokaw on their show Here and Now, originally aired on 11/22/05 and available online for your perusal.

Tiger Saw has a song on a compilation CD being released this month on Tract Records. Entitled Engano, the disc consists of the label’s artists and affiliates covering each others’ songs. Tiger Saw covers the Everything is Fine song “Mt. Erebus.” And Tiger Saw themselves are covered by their pal Viking Moses on the song “Best Suit” (originally on their 2002 full-length Blessed Are the Trials We Will Find).

Who will be the last to take up MySpace and yours? Kimchee may be in the running for that dubious honor, as we have only just joined in. Look around, though, and you will notice many Kimchee-related bands who have developed their own pages on the site over the last year or so.
Here are a bunch:
